He's still grieving her mother. She's still grieving him.
Synopsis
Chris takes his eleven-year-old daughter Ellie to Lisbon on what's meant to be a bonding trip. It isn't — he's checked out, still grieving his wife, glued to his phone. Ellie's checked out too, in her own way, carrying a secret of her own.
Over a few unravelling days in the city, the distance between them keeps finding new ways to show itself — until one night, what Ellie's been hiding turns out to be the thing that brings them back together.
By the time they're sprinting for the flight home, nothing's fixed. But something's loosened.
